2 steps: - pre-registration: https://dr07.azur-colloque.fr/inscription/en/351/preinscription which must be validated by one of the ISIC22 organizers

- registration: you will receive another email with the registration link and this will enable payment.

 

Your final registration will be complete after those two steps.

We are pleased to welcome you at Clermont-Ferrand, University Clermont Auvergne, France, for the 22d edition of the International Symposium on Intercalation Compounds (ISIC). Located at the center of France in the very special region of a chain of ancient volcanoes ideal for hiking, Clermont-Ferrand has retained many of its charms as a historic capital of Auvergne and the capital of the Puy-de-Dôme department. Clermont-Ferrand hosts the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (Festival du Court-Métrage de Clermont-Ferrand) every year, one of the world's leading festivals for short films. It is also home to the corporate headquarters of Michelin, the global tire company founded in the city more than 100 years ago.

 

Intercalation process in physics and chemistry brings together a very large community of scientists interested in fields of research activity concerning catalysis, energy, environment and sustainable development, health, engineering, …

Indeed, material science in the broad sense, since it includes organic, inorganic and hybrid compounds, either natural or synthetic backbones or frameworks, can meet societal expectations by offering a wide choice of solutions.

In addition to often revisiting materials or finding new ones for these today's applications, the themes of the conference also highlight the often-crossed characterizations allowing the link between their structure and their dimensionality and their local up to long-range organization with the properties.

These intercalation compounds are clearly a common factor in physics, chemistry and also in biology to provide sustainable solutions, respectful of the environment as much as possible and offer very interesting perspectives which can be increasingly guided by modeling and Artificial Intelligence.

All these aspects will constitute the heart of our Symposium.
